A clear top-down view, the analysis maps every room to its
compass palace.
For an HDB flat or condo unit, the facing is the main-door direction measured from inside looking out, and the unit's own plan, not the block's, is what to upload.
A photo of the developer's plan is enough. A north arrow helps but is optional.

Facing

Facing bearing: stand at the main door looking out and read the phone compass in degrees. Rooms: draw each room as a box, name it, and mark where beds are.
Trace every enclosed area once, rooms and the
spaces between them; balconies stay out of the centre. Measure the facing with a phone compass at
the main window/balcony, away from metal. Drag on the plan to draw each room; tap 🚪 then click the main door position.
How to trace
- Trace all enclosed floor area, corridors, lobby, yard, WC, shelter, walk-in wardrobe. The centre point is the balance point of the whole home, so a missing area shifts every palace.
- No overlaps, no gaps, each patch of floor belongs to exactly one shape; walls are nothing.
- Balconies and patios are drawn but excluded from the centre (dashed), open to the sky and outside the envelope you live in; they still get a palace reading for the water star (向星) and the gate check.
- Furniture inside a room is not a room, a wardrobe, bay platform or bed stays inside its bedroom's shape; only a walk-in with its own walls and door is traced as Wardrobe.
- One child per bedroom, parents in the master, set Beds on each bedroom; the optimiser never exceeds it.

How to read this
Scores run from 0 to 100 for each room and person.
- Mountain stars (山星) govern people and health. Water stars govern wealth and activity.
- Favourable directions come from each person's Kua (卦) number.
- Every line names the rule it comes from.
